DEMONSTRATION CASES
Real-World Testing for Scalable Solutions
The CHEK project’s pilot cases play a crucial role in demonstrating the scalability and effectiveness of the developed tools and solutions for digital building permits (DBP). These pilot cases are conducted in collaboration with four diverse European municipalities, representing a range of geographic, demographic, and technological characteristics. This diversity ensures that the CHEK tools can adapt to the needs of different cities across Europe.
The goal of these pilots is to test and refine the CHEK solutions in real-world scenarios, ensuring they are practical, scalable, and impactful for municipalities of all sizes.
Pilot Municipalities
CHEK’s pilot cases involve four municipalities, each contributing unique perspectives to the testing and demonstration phase:

Demonstration Scenarios
The CHEK pilot cases involve two demonstration scenarios in each municipality to test the developed tools:
- Scenario 1: New Building – Designing and submitting a building permit for a new construction project.
- Scenario 2: Renovation – Redesigning and submitting a renovation project for an existing building.
