CHEK participated in the buildingSMART International Summit in Berlin, held from 22 – 24 September 2025 under the theme “openBIM – Better Together.” The Summit brought together leading experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to discuss the future of openBIM, interoperability, and collaboration in the built environment.

presented the project demonstration process and results in session named “Digital Building Permits in Action: Insights from the CHEKdbp Project”
The session highlighted the results of CHEK’s three-year HorizonEurope journey, showing how digital building permits can transform workflows, enhance interoperability between BIM and GIS, and simplify regulatory compliance across Europe.
